Reviews
We went for dinner on New Year's Eve, following the recommendation of our host. The atmosphere was very nice. The owners were very friendly people, they took care of us very sincerely and took our orders. We didn't have to wait too long for service. The portions were filling and the food was great! The schnitzel was one of the best schnitzels we have ever eaten. I highly recommend it.
Everything was perfect! Service (the nice and friendly lady talking to everyone like they're family, makes you feel like home even if you're not), food was absolutely amazing, big portions and very fairly priced. We had garlic soup (delicious!!), Schafkäse in bacon and cordon bleu (photos), prices are very fair, we paid 40 EUR, but we drank a lot so it could've been less. We also got a small shot of Schnaps at the end, for good digestion the lady said :) very nice touch (and may I said it helped haha).
We will definitely come back and bring anyone visiting us here for real good quality Viennese food experience!
I rarely review restaurants but this one I had to. Stopped by an accident and got a great late meal. Portions are huge (usually not a great indicator but in this case it doesn't apply), menu is relatively small (good indicator). Food was really tasty and staff super friendly and with excellent service. Prices are also reasonable. Will go there more often. My dish also had the longest name ever: Schweinslungenbraten im Speckmantel auf rosa Pfeffersauce mit Kroketten und Speckfisolen 😄
Hidden gem 👌
We had Austrian Sausage With Goulash Sauce, Fried Chicken (Chicken Schnitzel) With Potato Salad, and Almdudler. The food was amazing and waitress beyond friendly. Highly recommend!
Delicious, good and authentic Viennese food. Friendly and quick service. Reasonable prices. Has sunny outdoor terrace. Interesting and clean interior. Will go again to try other dishes.
UPDATE: I went back again a few more times and tried the Pork Schnitzel, Styrian beef salad, and Cordon Blue Schnitzel. Everything was just delicious. Simple and hearty food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Biggest Schnitzel in town! Pretty amazing food and the staffs are really really nice. 🥰😍
I ordered the beef goulash and it was average. Portion was large, but quality was low. The meat was dry and had lots of fat. The bread dumpling was too salty. I was denied to pay by card and told cash only. I wouldn't go back here. I think it's better for locals.
Very nice, traditional place with this unique wiener atmosphere. Big tables, ideal for groups. Has a separated smoking area, the kitchen is nice (traditional with some unique tricks like zucchini on the gröstl), the service is very very nice! Prices are also ok. Recommended!
